Raron, Rafa is a good guy......just very passionate about FEJ. Cut him a break I guarantee you he has no beef against you. His X-rays brought a lot of value to the FEJ discussion.

If you were to say to people to their face what you do on this forum, you would get a reality check real quick, right upside your head, and you would not be so mouthy,,
SO you can go ahead and type whatever you want to try and run me down, I wont be reading it, I am done with this post, I am not going to get into a computer keyboard war with you,
If you are coming to the greater southwest jet rally in Waco, My name is RONNIE DEAN, come find me, we can go have a discussion away from the field, and you tell me what you think,,
As you won't be reading this Ronnie, I suppose I'm responding to the world wide web.

We aren't friends and I may be inferior and maybe "mouthy" and I maybe a lot of bad things.

I am human and fallible. And I'd like to be a better person, a better builder and better R/c pilot. All the while, having a big smile on my face.

When I'm wrong, I want to know so I can be better.

I will not get into a keyboard fight with you. Anyone can win against me. I'm a lover/laugher, not a fighter.

As a wise man once said:

My name Rafael Villeda. I am in northern california and quick google search will lead you right to me. Anytime you are in the area or at a jet meet and you recognize me, come by and say hello!

We can fly together, and have a great time. And we can talk jets ad nosium and have a hearty laugh.

And this is what I look like!

And this is what my truck looks like when I roll up!

I've always been terrified to mount a jet on top of a car. I don't know why they fly faster than that lol. Mabe wind getting under it and blowing it off? I would be a wreck driving around like that lol.

Raf is one of the most stand-up guys I know... and I know a lot of stand-up guys. Ron, you should catch a clue before calling someone inferior.

Sometimes I carry the jets in the rooftop too.. guess that the real risk still is flying them...haha

Awesome pictures Raf.

Yes, the first time was really scary!! I found that my blood pressure will drop a few points with a clear moon roof, so I can see the jet.

I like to tie down the wings as well. As a matter of fact, I think it's vital!

Surf racks work really well for transporting jets. I mount two on the top rack and one surf rack longitudinally on each side to strap each wing.

It really helps when you don't want to tow anything so you can get there faster!

Thanks D!

It it just kinda sucks to have wasted $6k on a display model and also see your friends (online and off) loose multiples of $10k with crappy stuff! Not to mention the increase in notoriety we "drone" pilots can bring down on ourselves!

Make sure that the air flow it's close to the turbines don't like to spin dry when driving .

Ronnie, The person you called inferior is probably more educated and flat out intelligent than most of us here in this toy plane forum. He literally controls life and death every day at his work. Inferior? Not by a long shot… Plus, he takes a real good picture….

You are the one who is threatening and making yourself look (insert favorite derogatory adjective here.)

He’s not a bad builder either..

Raf, I could never do that to my Hun.. One day, sooner or later, I would end up driving the rig straight in to my garage, or something equally dumb..
I did that once with a windsurfer on the rack, fin upwards. Took out the whole rear end of my lovely new custom race board board, damaged the roof of my wagon, and wrecked my garage door. My Partner laughed for days..

Raf,

Fire up the 100 while driving home and you qualify to use the alternate fuels lane. With the Hun running...you are driving a Hybrid!! LOL

Has the pilot or anyone else that was there when the crash occurred commented in this thread yet?

Thanks Rog!

You know, I thought long and hard about putting the hun up there for it's maiden flight. My shiny new baby all "exposed" like that!

But a) I hate taking off/putting on those wings, and b) every one of my jets goes for a ride at some point in time, why delay the inevitable! LOL!

OUCH! Into the garage with a new board?! Sorry man!

Luckily (or too bad for my truck!) my truck lives outside!

It wasn't going very fast at all. The thing had a P70 in it. Full throttle would only top out around 140. It was pretty doggy with that turbine. It happened in a wide turn.

Isn't that the first thing that should happen? That way there isn't as much hearsay and as a community, we can learn to prevent this from happening again. Enter sponsorship and all that goes out the window. All I hear is how stand up of a guy Lewis is, then why isn't he sharing his multiple experiences so others won't suffer the same fate?
