What primer are you using

I've used the Transtar primers that I saw B1-Bob using:

I've also used the U-Tech primer that my PPG dealer recommended as a lower-cost alternative to K36:

Both ot them seemed to work fine for me, were cheaper than K36, and seemed easier to spray.
I must admit though that I'm no painting expert, but these are alternatives that worked for me...

Dan,
Its still on the PPG website - its part of their Deltron line. Its hard to find online, but you can find it:

It ain't cheap though! The best I found was around $67 per quart...

Gary, I have switched from K-36 to this. Like it just as much. I'm no pro but it works for me and my local body shop carries it.

PPG JP202 works great, part of their Shop Line system and very inexpensive. K 36 is still around but is an old product. Was replaced with DPS 3055 a few years ago. Beware of the High 5 product from Upol, pinholes can be a problem.

David, did you get it at English Color near JTs?
