Pat,
I bought this Makita blower about 10 years ago when I got into turbine jets. The price was $ 80 for the blower, another $ 60 for the battery and $ 60 for the charger-$200 total. This was for a 12V version. I use it religiously for all my turbine operations, including bench testing as it can really extinquish a small flare up and also for post-flight cooldown-to save the starter/O-ring and ECU battery. I also use the blower to clear leaves/debris off my driveway and deck. This season the battery died and I bought a replacement from a battery outlet for about $ 40 delivered. Some local jet guys are wiring a 3s LiPo to the blower and it works for them. I find it very handy.
