Default Power Box I-Gyro

[h=2]Power Box I Gyro[/h]
HI all,I have several questions on the setup of a I-gyro with a Power box Royal (non SRS) and a JR 1221 receiver.
1- in this setup, is it true I only need one remote for the I-gyro
2-What is Digital out from the receiver to the I-gyro
3-Is JR remotes the same as Specktrum remotes
Thanks if I can get these 3 questions answered.
Rcpete
PS. if someone could do a scketch, that would be great.

I would not hold your breath waiting for a reply. I posted on the 12th December & still have no response.
As a result, I have
purchased an alternative product.

Well my experience with PowerBox support has been excellent, sometimes within hours and even on a Sunday.

Pete; sorry I cannot help much with that setup, I'm using the Royal SRS with the Igyro built in. I can tell you about the remotes however; the JR and Spektrum remotes are the same but do not mix DSM2 and DMSX types.

Hello,

@rcpete: normally our support is in our forum, but for now:

1- in this setup, is it true I only need one remote for the I-gyro
You need at least 2 satellites. You can find a schematic here: http://forum.powerbox-systems.com/vi...chematic#p1516

2-What is Digital out from the receiver to the I-gyro
This is a S-BUS output. If you have a SRS PowerBox you can use this output to go with 2 wires in the PowerBox

3-Is JR remotes the same as Specktrum remotes
Yes, but as mentioned in the other post: donīt mix up DSM2 and DSMX

@JIM: I try to give answers in our forum in less than one hour and also on saturday and sunday. If your manufacturer of the other product does the same - be happy!
I looked for your post, if it is this one, no idea why I missed it- sorry: http://forum.powerbox-systems.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1360

Your answer is posted- this information could have been found in the manual as well.

Also I have seen some earlier posts from you: my answers came on the same day!

HI Richard this schematic is not in the manual, this makes it much more easy to install.
The I-gyro manual has
1-Specktrum system without PB
2-Futaba, M-link, Hott and Jett system without PB
3-Any radio system with PB ( this schematic showsDigital out from I-gyro)
4- and the last one- any control system with SRS PB.
So I see you have 3 remote satellites in your http://forum.powerbox-systems.com/vi...chematic#p1516, so is it 1 or 3 remote satellites
Are you calling I-gyro -- remotes, and receiver---satellites ?

Gary.

Hi Richard, one of the main problem with the manual is it unintentionally confuses people the way it is written.
The schematics run on to the next , they are not numbered, one does not know which paragraphs belong to which schematic.
Sorry

Hello Pete,

"Remotes" and "Satellites" is the same, just another naming. Spektrum calls them "Remotes" most customers say "satellites"

We take 3 satellites to the iGyro because this are the main functions: Aileron, Elevator, Rudder

No. My post is on the PB12 thread, posted on the 12th December & not answered. Someone else also asked a question on the same thread in August & got no answer.
