Default jet legend f16 netherlands lion scheme paint

Ok guys....i have been working on my jet legend f16 for a couple of months now. I finished installing the D4S light kit and i had to do some minor body work to the fuse. I have been trying to match the orange paint and after 7 unsuccessful tries i think it is going to be time to have to repaint the entire plane which really sucks. Has anyone ever matched the orange on the jet legend and if so do you have a paint code or color. Any advise would be great at this point.

Thanks

If you have something with the correct color you can take it too a automotive paint and body supply store. They can do a color match. That's what I ended up doing with my Netherlands F16.

Man I don't have the code or any of the paint left. He hand matched though with out a problem. You might try another store. I was in the paint and body business for 30 yrs and that's not that tough of a color to match. Sorry wish I was more help. Scott

A good paint shop should be able to replicate it. If you want real accuracy why not e-mail the squadron ? I did for some detail info on another scheme and they were extremely helpful..

I know that you might not want to use their paint, but Home Depot and Lowe's can do a paint match. Then you might be able to cross their number to Chromebasse. Just a thought.
Good luck....

Contact Mike at GlobalJets he is very helpful. You could try to take a part of the plane(wing..fin..or something) to a car painter. They have a tool that can check the mix of any colour.
Did that with some parts of my Yamaha..that was repainted white..but wich white? It was Toyota 7xwhite.
