Default Ripmax xcalibur. Gyro? And which one?

Hello all.

Im working on my xcalibur and have an extra Igyro and new igyro 3e available in my parts bin.

Should I put one in?
suggestion on which one?

With either one I plan on using a matchbox for the rudder servos.

Thanks in advance!

I have an Xcalibur & it is very easy to fly without a gyro. If you want to fit a gyro, I am sure the igyro e will be perfect.

You can fit the iGyro 3e. A Y lead on the rudders is all that is required if you set the servo arms square mechanically.
Like Jim says the Xcalibur does not need a gyro, but it will make it very smooth.

I just put a JR 370 on the rudders. It wags just a bit in windy conditions and that should cure it. Haven't flown it yet as old man winter is really pissed off at us right now.

Hi
If you are thinking of fitting the iGyro 3e take a look Xcalibur thread post 1164 I said how I got on with the 3e. I have taken it out of the Xcalibur as I could not get it to work.

Billy. It will work just fine...you just need to adjust it to your set up. One session and no adjustments within don't count ;-)
Try it on 18ms

Dave
