Default Laser 3D printed turbine accessory bracket set.

Hello all.
I would like to show you a new product I have been working on for a while.
This is a set of laser 3D printed turbine accessory brackets and clips for your favorite engine.
All the brackets and clips are CAD designed and CAM produced from the best material to 50 micron resolution.
The brackets come in black color to fit possible carbon fiber trays and the clips in grey color for Krylon make-it-stone finish.
It comprises of:

An ECU tray with retaining tabs and 4 countersink holes, coming with its countersink screws.

A fuel pump holder, with four retaining screws, two being used to squeeze the pump in the bracket.

A fuel valve holder. The valves sit side by side and are fastened through with two 2-56 long screw. Two countersink holes and screws come with the set to fasten the holder.

An I/O board holder that serves 2 purposes. It isolates the board from the accessory plate, thus enabling the use of carbon fiber sheeting if required and also lifts the board to avoid damaging the components weldings. This elevated position also facilitates the extraction of the RJ-11 plug from the socket. This comes with a set of 4 sheet metal screws

One 4 mm PYCABS clip for the fuel tubing.
One 2.6 mm PYCABS clip for the power wires

A set of 4 EZ PYCABS clips

The set allows very clean installations.

This is available for the BF-Turbines B-100F, B-300F, Behotec JB-220 and any C6 ECU controlled Jetcat engine.

Hello Doc.
I have it done for Jetcat V6 ECUs.
However I can change the dimensions to any ECU size. That's the beauty of CAD. I just need the dimensions taken with a digital caliper in mm...

Can you make a range to suite the common receivers also?

I'm surprised that clip-in Rx mounts are not available. I'm sure there's a market for them. Would be better than Velcro or zip-ties.

Oli,

I'll start off with dimensions for the Jeti Rx that I have.

Jeti EX R11 EPC Rx

51.50 x 25.00 x 11.00mm

The connectors plug into both ends of the Rx, on the 25x11 faces. These is a 1.50mm edge distance to the servo connector openings. Hopefully the link to a picture of the Rx helps.

Jeti EX R14 Rx

62.70 x 38.20 x 16.50mm

You need to avoid an area 13.5 - 20.5mm in from the end along the 62.7mm edge as this is where the 2 antennas exit the case.

Jeti Telemetry Sensor GPS MGPS EX

50.00 x 30.50 x 13.00mm

Nice Accessories!

Could the fuel pump holder be made with grooves on the insides of the rings to house rubber O-rings which would serve to soft mount the fuel pump?

Yes.
What o'ring diameter do you typically use?

Jeti GPS:

On the R14, the top of the clip extends on the receiver top by 1.9 mm at the location of the servo plugs. Please check if this still clears the opening.

Oli,

They look great.

On the R14, the closest the servo plugs get to the edge of the case is 3.8mm, so the clips will be fine.

How much each will they be? I'll take two of each of the R11, R14 and GPS mounts when they are available.

Send me your address, I'll ship one prototype of each to you. If they work we'll talk what you'd like to buy.

The OD of the fuel pump is 25mm. The O-ring thickness wouldn't be critical, but it would need to be thick enough for the intended purpose - maybe 2-3mm?

How wide are the 2 clamps?

Oli, is your printer in Houston? What is the volume ?

Would like to prototype some parts, and perhaps you can quote me lower. :-)
Not RC stuff, so no conflict of interest.

Coming soon. The shape of the micro, smart and tiny is a bit more intricate. It is taking me some time to CAD design.
