Default PB Competition SRS and futaba again

I know, this has been talked about before and I have done some searching on the topic but I am tired of trying to piece it together. What is the latest info on this combo? Are people using it without issue right now? Has anything been discovered/resolved? I would like to use the Competition with two 7008SB receivers. It is such a clean setup. PM me if you don't want to say anything public.

Joe,

Absolutely perfect. Between myself and a friend we have 20 jets flying with that combination. Never had an issue on 14MZ or 18MZ.

Cheers,

Yes, 7008, 6303 and 7003 (which I have now standardised on for use with telemetry) but absolutely no issues with any of them.

Same for me as well. No issues at all using R7008SB and R7003SB with P/Box Competition SRS and Cockpit SRS.

Actually its a perfect combination but ensure you operate one R7008SB RX on Channel Mode B and the other on Channel Mode D, which utilizes "Full Redundancy".

Patch Leads to RX1 and RX4 on the P/Box (make sure they are connected to S-Bus on the RX), and NOT S-Bus2.

Then all I do is MAP the P/Box channel output to suit my T18MZ function, and set-up the Li-Po capacity (m-Ah).

And finally ALL telemetry connections through S-Bus2.

Never heard of any issues until I saw a previous post from Erik (sorry for your loss Erik and look forward to any updates).

Could you elaborate this mode B vs mode D issue more please? SRS boxes are connected using SBUS and I fail to understand how the mode B vs D game would improve redundancy at all. The mode should not have any impact at all.
