How about this? A pair of NASA operated RQ-4A Global Hawks during in flight refueling. I think this was accomplished in 2013. The XV-47B and the RQ4 Global Hawk are Northrop Grumman products. The Global Hawk was developed by Teledyne Ryan in 1995, and won the Tier II competitive contract award. Northrop Grumman bought Teledyne Ryan in 1999, and manufactures them at Palmdale Ca.

Actually, if you read the reports of this program (designated KQ-X), they did not achieve actual fuel transfer:

"The KQ-X program ended in September 2012 without airborne fuel transfer occurring between the two UAVs."

The X-47B is the first UAV to complete actual air-to-air refueling - although the KQ-X program showed that it could be done.

Bob,
I didn't read the report, but it is a pretty big deal, as no other UAV has ever attempted this.
I retired from NGC in 2005, and have missed every accomplishment since. In the very beginning of the program, I was on the wind tunnel test team at TRA in 1995 and my shop built the mockup(s) before production began, so I have seen more of it than most. I was involved in the static tests as well.
Funny how it works....I always looked forward to retirement, but 10 years later I have found that I miss the work and all of the friends I made along the way.
