Just to encourage you all we had 3 Mini Avantis at our local club yesterday, one EDF one powered by a P20 and the third by a Kingtech K45. The EDF and K45 were maiden flights. The P20 and EDF ones flew fine despite a 12 mph breeze. The P20 was flown at about 2/3 to 3/4 throttle and is a good plane for the P20 as it is nice and light. The EDF powered one was surprisingly good with plenty of power. The K45 powered one obviously had the most power to weight and was delightful. The owner had not even bench tested the engine and after bleeding the air from the lines it started perfectly on both flights. The first flight was made without gyro and the second with the gyro switched on. All flights were nice and stable and with the gyro on it was especially smooth. Sorry no photos or video.

After running the K45 on the bench for a couple of starts and burning 3/4 of a 1.5L tank, I installed everything in the mini.
I'm actually mostly done:
The mini balance @ 145mm, i'm left to adjust all throws...
Now waiting for nice weather and some free times!

'Jedi'? Who is he
Today have seen fly one of my other customers Sebart Mini Avanti S with Kingtech K45G for the first in real life, and I must say that is a great combination.
No film jet, battery was dead but made some pictures instead:

Hi Guys,
Now have around 80 flights on the mini, most of them off grass. The stock retracts are holding fine so far, but struts were changed to tams. ( great combo)
Great airframe with plenty of thrust from the 3.5kg lambert, which runs like a dream so far.
Dry weight is 3050 grams with UAT full, and Igyro 3e.
Chatty.

Yes she flew today!!
Did 4 flights, can only say one thing, ABSOLUTELY BRILJANT!!!!!!
This is really sutch an nice, sweet, fast, slow and forgivable fun out of the thrunk of your car ready to fly toy!!
Really GREATH!!!
The gears had a real beating cause our field is an junk yard at the moment and 1.7 liters of fuel is weight wise really To much from an soggy grass field!
But although (nock on wood) still 100%, not an krimp/kranck/crack
But for the rest, the combo with the K45 is simply BRILJANT!!
