thanks ... K45G1. it will slow down a little better than that. That was not full flap since there was some wind out. Has the largest CMjets tank, tam pipe, and mks servos... very fun to fly!

Still loving my Avanti/K45 combo. My gear are finally worn out after a rough landing. I'd like to put a new set in. Is there a drop in aftermarket set or anyone know where the factory ones are in stock?

Cheers

Those would be perfect if they were in stock. The ones from IAD are in stock, but loss during shipping is my risk, and I'm not comfortable with that. Still looking.

These are the ones:

However, the other links provider appear to be a better idea.

that can’t be right? If it is sent properly, then it should get too you safely, if not it should be insured to the same value?

I've got a K45G3 for my Avanti. I was wondering using one battery will work? I wish to keep the weight low.
I would use a 2200 LiFe 9.9 and a Jeti SBEC30. The SBEC will regulate the voltage to 7.4V to the receiver and the full 9.9 will go to the K45.
I think I could get three flights per battery.

Personally I wouldn’t risk it. Any single issue could feed back and take out the whole system. With the G3 it’s going to be a lighter model anyway. Be on the side of caution and use separate batteries. 👍

I guess a second battery only adds 100g.

Now another question for the experts:
Double walled thrust tube (Grumania) or single (HAB)? Obviously, the HAB is lighter, but I'm concerned about melting the back of the fuselage.

Thanks!

Go for the HAB Tube - got mine yesterday at it is only 78 Gramms on 48cm length.....i have used 3 tubes from HAB so for and no issues with heat. Look at the weight from the Grumania Tube...way too high....

if you want double wall but feather light, Go to:

I have read that it is slightly above 100gramms

my tube is for the X45

HI,
Those that use the HAB single wall pipe - did you add any heat protection at the tail of the aircraft? Did you cover the servo wires with silver tape?
Thanks!

Hi,
Does anyone have a photo on how they protected the tail with heat tape tape for using a single wall HAB pipe?
Thx!

Hello all, at the moment the Mini AvantiS 1.3L and 1.2L + UAT not are available in this moment for change the molds.

Will have a new top shape, with a bubble zone for the UAT version. Sure you will like. A new internal shape of UAT is designed for best functioning.

Available in 2021. In short pictures.

Thanks.

Default Looking for landing gear struts for my Sebart mini MB339 EDF.

Hello everyone,

just introducing me : I am italian, living in Italy, and have already flown my

mini MB339 EDF , but less than 10 flights.

I am Looking for landing gear struts for my Sebart mini MB339 EDF,
to replace the stock ones.
Using the stock ones, after touchdown, I always suffer from a series of jumps,
landing on grass field.

Specifically, I was looking for the following landing gear struts :

JP Hobby ER-005 V2 10mm Scale Metal Oleo Struts (incl. single nose strut)
Reference: JPH-SOL-005/S
Brand: JP Hobby

These struts are currently successfully used by some other owner of EDF mini MB339, here in Italy.

Unfortunately , It seems that these struts have completely disappeared from the world ;
ordered them at JPhobby, but they can only tell me that much time is needed to have them.

I could not find them in other online hobby shops.

Could you please help me in some way, in finding them ?

Or advising me on how to use some equivalent landing gear struts, for the Sebart mini MB339 ?

Thank you in advance.

Try the RC Castle Web site (they are based in Hong Kong) and they have this LG set

"JP HOBBY LANDING GEAR SET WITH BRAKE SYSTEM FOR SEBART MINI AVANTI S"

Sorry but do not have enough posts to include the URL
