Default Festo "Pilot Non Return Valve"

Hi
I the latest Jet International on page 15, there is a valve from Festo where you can shut off a flow with an extra pilot input.
It very useful I some of my projects there I have no looking on the landing gear. But I cant find it on Festos website. In the paper they call it M5-Q5-4 but that's probable not correct .
Is there some one out there know the right name on it.

Best regards
Jonas

I don't have a copy of that magazine but I think you are looking for Festo HGL-M5-QS-4.

Festo don't do valves that work direct from the receiver - only manua valves - which would require a servo - or solenoid valves that will require some extra electronics - I think the one you saw in the mag is just the manual 4mm valve.

However Xicoy do do some valves that will work direct from your RC system - you can see them here: http://www.xicoy.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=35_37

Hi
Thank for the input.
I know how the Jettronic or the valve from XiCoy works. I have them several models today. The problem whit these valve is that they release the pressure when you turn off the radio.
So I am looking for some small smart device to lock the pressure to gear cylinders even when the radio is off.

I,m sorry if the number was incorrect but I read it directly from the valve, 5 and S look very similar cast in tiny figures on the casing !

The beauty of these valves is that they open only when pressure is applied so when the pump is off the valve stays closed and the gear remains locked.

I have not not yet installed these valves in my Mig 29 but presently the gear is locked by manual Festo valves adapted to be servo driven and controlled by a JetTronics sequencer, works very well but the newer Festo valve will eliminate servos etc and reduce risk of failure or incorrect sequencing.

David.
