The ads on this forum are totally disgusting. It slows down the system and are not related. I seldom come to this site anymore simply because of the disgusting ads and the related delays they cause and extra B.S. you have to go thru to simply scroll thru a thread. The ads MAY help pay for the forum. But, they have gotten "out of control."

I can live with the ads, but I'm getting that pop up as well and apart from leaving the site and coming back the only option seems to be to download one of the apps. This strikes me as malware and I shouldn't be forced to download anything. Can't see how this is beneficial to the site?

The Ad Blocker Plus worked well on my IE, but the new browser, they call it the Edge in Win10, is not yet supported although they say it's coming. I'd forgotten how many ads there were until today with the new browser.

Switched back to IE and the ad blocker is working great.
