Building off the great event we had last October, the Flying Tigers RC Club in Scranton SC will have a spring and a fall jet meet in 2016.

Carolina Jet Fest 2016 will be April 8-9, 2016.
Tiger Meet 2016 will be October 21-22, 2016.

Contact me to reserve a parking spot with 30A power service or a tent.
Setup day is Wednesday and flying will start Wednesday afternoon through Sunday. Early arrivals OK ... let me know so we can coordinate.

Pilots dinner on Friday night.
Best Sport Jet, Best Scale Jet, and Pilot's Choice awards will be presented.

Update on plans for Carolina Jet Fest ...

Fri Night Dinner : Carolina style BBQ sandwiches and a side -- $5
Sat Lunch: BBQ Grilled Chicken and ALL the fixins -- $8
Saturday Night Pilots' Dinner: Steak, Taters And Fixin's .. FREE for Pilots and $15 for non-pilots.
Pilot's Raffle and Awards after dinner on Sat night. We will have a Pilot's Choice Award, Best Scale Jet Award, and Best Sport Jet Award.

Let's get a roll call going! Who's planning on coming??

I think I will be - its on my calendar and I'm working on keeping it open. I won't be able to make it down until Thursday evening though - have to teach in the morning. Are we able to fly for a bit on Sunday? I think Bob said that they did fly on Sunday morning last fall...

Parking and Tent Information: Each parking spot is 15' wide x 50' deep. If it fits in that space you're good to go. If you need extra space e.g. large RV we can accommodate you, just let me know.

Pricing is same as last year:
Parking Spot with no power: FREE! (limited qty available and are towards either end of show center ... most spots have power)
Parking Spot with your own 30A power plug: $25
Two Parking Spots with two 30A power plugs and prepaid 20x20 tent: $275
Four Parking Spots with four 30A power plugs and prepaid 20x40 tent: $525

First come first served, as far as parking spot location so let me know ASAP. I will need all tent pre-payments by mid-March.

I need to hear from anyone that wants a tent pretty soon. I'll need to finalize and get order in to the tent guy mid-month so let me know.

Parking spots do not have to be reserved, but you will get a better park if you do. First come first served.
