Default Need Help Finding Replacement FB MB-339 Brake O-rings

I need to replace the O-rings on my FB Jets MB-339 landing gear. There are two O-rings inside each brake.

They look like they are flat on the outside where they contact the wheel drum and round on the inside.

Does anyone have a source for getting these replacement O-rings.

Thanks
Gary

Could they be flat on one side from wear? Maybe a round one will work.

If it's the disc brake like the one I had they are not O rings but oil seals, Probably have to come from SM.

They look like regular O-rings except they are flat on top. I think a round O-ring that would be wide enough to sit in the slot would stick out the top and prevent the brake assembly from fitting inside the wheel drum. I got the gear second hand but it came from FB Jets. I have been unable to contact them today.

Thanks
Gary

Gary it's the Chinese new year. You won't hear from them until Feb 16 or so.

Pretty sure the flat part is wear. Just grab an oring that fills the gap and give it a try.

If the flat is wear, maybe thats why they leak so bad. I will give it a try.

Thanks

What is the size and thickness of the ring. I might have a couple extra. My Fei bao T-33 came with 2 rings in each drum but they wouldn't release totally and caused to much drag so I removed one and its just right.

I will have to take the wheels off next week to check. I have a Global Jet Club rep looking for me now. I will get back to you if he is unable to locate some O-rings.

Thanks for your offer. I will let you know.

Gary, I have had success with McMaster-Carr. Just measure the O-ring and order the correct size from them. They have every size you would ever want. I'm pretty sure the flat top is from wear. I just replaced a set on one of my FB models.

Thanks, That is probably the answer. I just ordered from them last week but did not think about O-rings.
