Lebanon Springfield Airport runway resurfacing is proceeding ahead of schedule. The airport will remain closed this weekend and work is expected to finish up sometime next week. The runway will be perfect for Jets Over Kentucky.

Our airport manager approved the set up today. Everything is all set and ready to go. I will be reviewing registrations starting tomorrow, and will match names to slots. If you did not pre-register, you need to contact me right away. I may not have a place for you, so make sure to let me know. We have enough pilots to fill up two(2) 40X240ft tents. Yes, the big tents are 240ft long this year, and the spaces are already taken. The airport approved a pop up tent area 50ft from the startup area, and to the east, so if you don't need a big tent slot, you can use this area. We have plenty of space left in the #3 Big Top tent (grass area), so let me know soon if you need it. Those slots are 200.00. We also have limited free space in the #3 tent.

The runway is finished, and smooth as glass!!!

Polo Shirts Ordered Today.

I Ordered 50 polo shirts today, and will bring to the event for delivery. Pre-ordered shirts may be picked up anytime at the event. Also ordered 25 extras, and they will be sold Friday morning to the first in line. Sorry cannot save any back; just too much work. The shirts are very beautiful, and should last a very long time. T-shirts were also ordered, and I ordered a few extra also...again, first in line Friday morning. Everything is wrapped up on my end, just waiting for planes in the air now.

Rich will have the new map ready in short order. Tent assignments, parking, and ect will be listed.

OK guys Lewis just approved the Tent / Camper layout map, there have been a few changes this year that came out of the meeting Lewis had with the airport manager.
You will see "X's" placed on the map which means no camper or car parking, this was done to facilitate the owners of full scale aircraft in the hanger located to the big hanger we use, they want access to be able to get their aircraft out during the week. This also affected the motor home parking that was always on the asphalt surface of Jet Town Ave. The motor homes will now required to park perpendicular to Jet Town Ave.in the grass. The airport management is aware that this was a water drainage area and will be providing gravel in that area to alleviate the issue.
We will be posting a separate list with names to match the number assignment on the map, this will be in flux for a few weeks while adjustment are being made.
