FL Jets 2016 / Red Flag Event Coverage

It's an AW Lightning owned by Barry. It's a fairly old model as I remember Todd & I working on one of the Merlin 160s at FJ years ago, but can't quite remember the exact year.
It has two of the newer (small can) K-160s, and Barry did a maiden flight at a local field on Wed before flying at FJ. I do know Barry flew it at least once; and I also saw Ali fly it. It most certainly is an unusual airplane and this is the only one I have ever seen.

Hey guys, the 1/5 f-16 is a new offering from BVM. It is in the PNP family and follows in the foot steps of it little (1/6th) brother. The 1/5th is in fact a new offering a features opening canopy, lights, scale gear, very nice (aluminum mechanism) speed brakes, servos and smoke system installed. Power is a Behotec 220.
The model I flew at the show was assembled at the field! After I was satisfied with the assembly and it passed all my checks, we took it to a friends airfield and put 3 flights on it before returning to Fl Jets.
The plane weighs just over 45lbs dry and flies absolutely amazing!
It is brand new, I believe BVM is now taking orders and will have full details on their site when ready.

On Facebook I can upload full res shots, and get a public link to my album in many times less time than doing it here.
So what Facebook has spoiled for me is my patience when it comes to uploading photos on other sites.

Thanks dubd!
I had a great time.
As to the field, they built that field for events, they don't "use that field". So with that understood, the physical layout of the runway is about the only way it can be to keep them out of the airport traffic and from over houses and roads.
Are there more suitable venues out there? Maybe. Are there any that wouldn't cause Frank to have to pack up an entire circus and move it to another town to host an event like FJ or TG? No

Here's the deal. I shoot 21 mega pixel, even the cropped photo's need to be batched through something like Bimpee to get sized down sufficiently to upload here, not to mention the ancient photo and album handling here.

Well, they are intended for the magazine, I was shooting for Fly RC. Shrinking them is another step that frankly I'm too lazy to take when I can upload them once to FB and post a public link.
If they were intended for web publishing, obviously I'd shoot at a lower quality and smaller file size setting.
