Default Dustflyer (Gene) PA

This is one post that I never wanted to have to write..

On Tuesday we lost another great flyer, after battling illness for several years Gene has finally made one more flight.
After spending time with Gene and flying his planes in the US I will really miss this guy we have spent hours talking and having a laugh.
My biggest regret is not being able to have the planned vacation with Gene and his family in 2014 due to me breaking my ankle.

I am sure his friends will add their own words here

I will miss our times together and our chats

Condolences to his fantastic wife and children who have supported him to the end

Alan :-(

Sad news. A loss of a friend and co-worker. He was one of those who left you smiling and could brighten anyone's day. Usually we would cross paths in Detroit Operations, and that led to an enthusiastic chat about modeling that was always cut short by one or the other needing to rush off to our gate for our next flight. Time and life fly by until a bit of news momentarily stops everything.
Blue skies my friend as you make that final flight west.

I am devastated. Gino was a great friend, who was always enthusiastic about everything, especially airplanes. Besides flying rc jets together many times, I had the pleasure of sharing an A-320 cockpit with him once. The world was a better place while Gino was in it, and I'm honored and blessed to have been able to call him my friend. God bless, and tailwinds forever Gino.
