Hi Guys,

OK, We now have the Eurofighter / Typhoon up on our website along with details and pricing. I am now taking pre orders. The 1st plane will be delivered after the factory gets back from Holiday Feb 7th. This will start out as a limited production, so anyone interested, will go on the waiting list in the order I receive them. I will process your orders when I can confirm the plane is built and the factory can paint and send the plane within a couple of weeks after payment. They are still working on the paint schemes and I will add them to our website as I get them. If you have a paint scheme that is not too difficult, the custom paint scheme fee will not be charged. Please feel free to contact me if the information you are looking for is not on our website.

Good Flying,

Dirk

Sorry if it's a dumb question but the price on your site.. is that for the standard kit with landing gear, fuel tank etc? Really nice looking model, looking forward to seeing some flight reports!

Are there lights on the instrument panels? The cockit does look very realistic, I guess $350 usd is not a bad price.

That's a very good price for a good quality plane plus landing gear etc. The price of the standard kit is the same as the cost of landing gear alone with some other manufacturers

The jet looks good but the only thing that makes me not to buy it is the size, for so long I was waiting for bigger version of the eurofighter than the carf model, maybe one day someone will come out with bigger version maybe twin turbine.

If this one sells I'll bet that they will work on a bigger one once all the T-Ones are caught up and the T-3 is ready..

Hey Mark,

I place an order for a model from PacificRCJet last Friday after getting a shipping quote from Dirk. However, the shipping cost that posted on my invoice was twice as much as it should have been. Dirk sent me an email stating that the shipping cost shown on the invoice was incorrect, and the overage would be refunded. Contact Dirk.

The actual shipping charge for this plane is $425.00 and the issue has already been fixed on our website.

Best Regards ,

Dirk

Hi David,

Yes, The Rafale is a very large plane and we had to put an estimated shipping cost so orders can be placed. Like I mentioned in the email to you, we will refund the difference as soon as we get a hard cost on it. We do not mark up shipping or charge any kind of handling fee's.

Everything was great till I got to shipping cost!!!! $2,550.00!! Are you kidding....that's more than the jet costs( non painted version is $2400). Have I been living in a bubble and just don't realize that this is normal shipping cost for a 25 lb package from the other side of the world. I admit this hobby has made me do some crazy things but I have to draw the line somewhere. Has anyone ever paid more to ship a large scale jet , than they paid for it? I cannot imagine many of these will be sold to US customers if this is actual shipping cost. I'm so disappointed , because this looks like a great model. I'm sorry Dirk but I just cant justify that!

Marc Morgan
Hi Marc,

It's been a mistake from our website that interpreted accessories such as cockpit and others to be shippable therefore added all the shipping costs altogether. All have been sorted though!

Regards,
Barry

Hey Dirk,

No problem, I totally understood and was very appreciative of your automatic response to the mistake without any inquiry from me.

Barry,
Thank you for posting this to address my concern. I have already privately emailed Dirk to apologize and I want to apologize to you and your entire team as well. I will not elaborate here as I did for Dirk but suffice to say that I am glad it was a mistake and greatly look forward to this project. Let me say again to all on this post that I am sorry if anyone took offense to my initial comments concerning this matter.

No worries Marc, it was our website that caused the confusion, thank you for working with us.

Barry

Cheers,
Barry
