Long Marston J.M.A. Meeting
From a breezy Long Marston today, the weather conditions seem to dictate that the model of choice would be the Ultra Flash, Original Flash, and the JSM Xcalibur

DW from Motors & Rotors was flying his JSM Xcalibur, and Mini Xcalibur, he also brought along his 10 years old CARF Original Flash, this model seems to be ageing with some dignity, still fitted with the original Jetcat Turbine & ECU, Orignal JR Servos, the RX has been changed to a modern JR 2.4 System. At some point the main Wheel Legs have been replaced with trailing link type as opposed to the original straight legs.
Se the photographs with another Original Flash to keep it company

Yes, as normal in conditions like today CARF models are the weapon of choice, toughest models available. My Classic Flash, the instruction manual model, amazes me every time I fly it, 10 years old, JR8411 servos, Powerbox Sensor switch and Thunderpower 2s 2100 prolite lipos (pre balance leads) all still working perfectly, the P-120 from 2004 still on gas start has been bullet proof. The original Behotec C36/2 air retracts and all in one valve still hold air after all these years. The Intairco wheels are the second set and these are almost worn bald( early hard rubber type)
It all shows why I still support and promote these items, quality, is always quality!
20 ltrs burnt today, more tomorrow.
furthest travelled Stuart and father Ian enjoyed their first trip South, Stuart from Aberdeen, flies his Ultra Flash from the rough site at Banchory Devnick, takes all the knocks.
Other than Paul and Luke's Rebel and Mark Brown's Carf Viper, it was all Xcalibur or Flash models flying.
