Default Airtech DE airbrake update FYI O-ring size

20161119 FYI AIRTECH O RING SIZE

The brake will accept and operate with a common 36mm x 3mm o-ring but it does not seem to give the same braking force as the specific

36.3mm x3.04mm O-ring
From Airtech

This if for:

wheel shows 100x21 High Speed
Tire shows 110x21 High Speed
Brake Hub about 43 mm across
Brake drum, wheel part, about 44.3 mm

I used Parker lube on both sizes on new o-rings. Not empirical but I could detect more braking force giving them a hand turn at the same pressure with the airtech o-ring.

The rings were 1Euro, about $1.10 US and $24.00 shipping. I went ahead and ordered 10.
If anyone wanting more brake force I would consider selling a couple of sets. $8.00 for 2 is expensive but running out of brakes when you need them = $$$.
