Default More 3D printing fun...

It seems like half the cockpit kits I have on my planes have HUD displays that show up broken or I knock them off myself... Threw this together in a few minutes. Little thicker than the one that was on it, but its ABS plastic, pretty tough. There are just so many cool applications for 3D printing in our hobby.

Todd mentioned that he could set up a repository for .STL files... I know there are some CAD rock stars who participate on this forum.. (thomas) Be nice to have a place to share designs.

Who Me?

You should see the 1/10 XB-70 im designing.

The HUD parts look nice. 3D printing is definitely coming along way very quickly. I'll be glad when my 24x24x48" 3D printer is done. I'll be 3D printing full size plugs.

Yes, of course you Thomas! ;-) You have done some crazy stuff!

I do plan on adding an LED George, I have a light system in the PC-21 already. Think thats a great look! I wonder if etching things in the acrylic would highlight it better? Might have to experiment.
