Default Manufacturer Identification For a BVM 'Maverick' Jet

I'm looking at a Maverick Jet that is currently being 'thought' to be a BVM model, as per the sellers' not quite sure, but 'thinks so' identification. It's a ducted fan model with an OS-91 powerplant currently installed. Fiberglass fuse, not sure about the wing material/build (I've not yet made the drive to examine this bird). The model was never 100% completed, obviously never flown. It's currently in a rather advanced 'ARF' state of being.

Did/Does Bob Violet leave any identifying marks on/inside his models, for the purpose of verifying authenticity? Before plunking down the $$$'s... I'm trying to determine if this jet is truly a Bob Violet model, or just what/who?

"Can you identify this model?

That is not a Maverick, it is either a terminator or a X terminator Chris Setting made them for awhile in the 90s. They are nice.

EDIT: If it is a Xterminator, you need to make sure it has the updated stab pivot location before you fly it, or else make sure your spotter has one of those portable defibrillators handy

Just look up what a bvm maverick looks like. This is definitely not one according to Google Images.

Yip, not a BVM Maverick - hatch too big, no elevators and intakes too square....

Thanks guys!
I saw nothing from BVM that looked like this, either. That's what peaked my curiosity as to its true origins.
Does anyone know where I could find more data/manuals for this particular model? I'm batting 'zero' via simple 'net searches...

Thanks Mr. Matt. I've tried to search, via the given mfgr, model, etc., ... but my Google search shows no hits for any of those entries. No joy, just sour grapes. Try it yourself. Perhaps I am missing something, or doing something wrong. I'm pushing 60 years old and technology now seems to stay about twenty years ahead of me. When I try to search, Google offers me nothing but 'nothing' pertaining to anything having to do with the manufacturer, his name, nor any of his models. Chris Setting and his models seem to have fallen into some internet/Google black hole... at least on 'my' end!

Sorry I am being obtuse I suppose

Post number 5 in this thread is from user name "csetting".

This person in real life is Chris Setting, who designed and manufactured the kit of the plane in your original post. He IS the manufacturer. I would PM him for any information you need.

I had one too, and I am more than happy to help (I don't have the manual) but you have the designer on your thread! You have found him!

"Many Thanks Mr. Matt!"

Okay Chris... the beans have been spilled and your cover has been blown. I'm not authorized to divulge my source, just be advised that I know who you are!
Can you offer me any advice, manuals, etc. for this model? What about that 'stab' pivot location 'thing'? I'd really like to know all of the important stuff prior to purchase.

I've spoken to Mr. Setting. Consider this thread closed!
Thanks to all for helping me out!
"Merry Christmas, too!"
