Default Large Jet Shipping?

Hi,

I'm trying to get a large jet crate (96"x36"x18") from SOCAL to Germany. Those of you who've shipped to Europe, what's the best option you know of?

Thanks

Could it be dropped off or picked up at an airport? Many airlines, like Delta, will ship freight.

How is this done?

I know of a source to ship freight but never learned the details because haven't shipped anything really big that forward air or grey hound couldn't cover

Thx in advance for any input

Hi,

So far, the air service quotes I've gotten start at the $2k area (which is a total non-starter). I got a quote from DB Shenker for $435, but the closest they'll get it to the customer is nearly 400 miles from his house.

Buy me a round trip ticket to Germany and I'll check it in and drop it off at the airport to the guy.
