I find it hard to believe. I do not see anything on the net confirming this, apart from the newsletter of last August talking about marketing strategy/ product development.

JR product will still be available, there is too much going on to talk here, the production facility is still strong, just the model helicopters and development divisions in Japan that need big changes.

I hope so, because they make the best servos on the market.
I have some planes that requires these...

Bad news when bad notices like this one become frequent.

- First model area reasearch and development stopped for sure.
-Then the helicopter production discontinued.
- Now news of radio production going out of bussiness.

Really it seems quite bad for JR company and I am very sad and sorry for such an important company.

Probably the decision to quit using Spektrum protocol had unforeseen consequences for JR. Hard to guess what really goes on in the business environment though.
Will miss those great servos.

With Hobbico (Futaba's distributor) having economic issues too, I wonder what the market will look like in five years? Will all of us be flying the "fruits" as our only choice?

JR has already gone bankrupt at the end of last year.

The big advantage of JR is xbus, but if you cant get the nx servos or the adaptors for normal servos the radio is useless for what I need it for.

Dave, I sure hope you know more than the rest of us. I'd sure hate to see JR fade away.
