Default rolling rack for a jet

Not to long ago some posted information on a aluminum rack with wheels to hold one jet for your shop.
I can't seem to find it. Anyone remember who sells it and the cost?
My shop is really small and that would really help.
Thanks,
Stan

There is another spot to get them directly from the guy who makes them, I just can't recall his name.

I agree. Very nice, but a little steep for a rolling rack.
I have a call into them now for the price.

Maybe he will see this and chime in.
I don't care about the balance option, just a rack on wheels.

Email this guy with the link, I think it is the same rack for $350 + shipping... but that might have changed.

This seems like the same one?

Also, since you don't care about cg you might consider this wood one with a cradle-like grip:

Wow. I clicked on this thread out of boredom, saw the second link and was hooked in an instant. That's perfect, and solves a problem in my own shop. Thanks guys!

I'd be careful with that stand if I were you. I bought one and thought the area of the fuselage supports was too small so I added sections of high density foam that's used for pipe insulation and I build racks out of PVC and this stuff.

Even with that extra padding, when we put my H9 60cc on the stand upside down to take the wing center section off, it cracked the fuselage sheeting on the nose. I've not put another airplane on it since and I damn sure would not put one of my turbines on it. I also have the one EA sells and IIRC I paid $400.00 for it as part of a package deal for a model and turbine.

If your anything like me, i am always thinking about how i can fit/use/modify something for my hobby, I came across this puppy at lowes and said ''oh my!"

A mobile meter saw stand. I got it a while ago for less the 180. everything locks and everything is adjustable. The T's at the far end rise or lower. The cross brace's travel along the hole center section to adjust for landing gear placement. the U channel you see in the last picture is changed out depending on wideness of landing gear, then gear is velcroed to the u channel.
I don't know who makes those role around medal stands but compared to mine those seem better for moving and placement in a confined area, i like them, might have to get a few.

Oops! Thanks for the heads up. I will indeed be careful and will try to weigh in here with my own experiences once I get it.

I have one, they are called the Stanley Stand. You can add additional foam from homedepot and it will support any airplane, I have my 1/5 F-16 on it all the time no issue. I would just say that for the cost the wheels on it are garbage...

I got mine from Marvin. The casters are not great, otherwise it's a nice stand. If you use it to balance, make sure you use a safety strap on it or it can tilt too far and your plane can slide off. Ask me how I know
