Default Phantom Pharewell

Hello all I came across this video today and thought I would share it. This video is of the final flights of the F4 Phantom it is being retired. This is my favorite jet off all time and I will be sad to see it go. I hope everyone enjoys this video.

Very nostalgic, thanks for posting.

Not often seen of late in the U.K. apart from occasional Air Show visitors from Turkey, Greece, a big aircraft, lots of presence, good looking aircraft.

I remember the Royal Navy F-4Ks & Royal Air Force F-4Ms both Rolls Royce Spey powered, sounding very different from the American GE J79 versions.

The RAF also purchased a number of second hand GE J79 powered aircraft in the early 80s

They all produced a lot of smoke, apart from when the reheat was engaged!!!!
