I have been using the L12 30mm 50/1 on my jets for several years now. The end points are adjustable and they amp out so adjustment is not really very critical.

These have been around for a bit, skymaster uses them for the swing wing mechanics on their f-14. I have seen folks use them on speed brakes as well.

We've used these ones for years now. Very nice devices and reliable.
Very useful for gear doors, canopy actuation, fuselage speed bakes...

They were called Firgelli, previously.

The crusader will be equipped with some of these on certain functions.

attention:

the original use of internal and external plastic parts, can not be used for Skymaster F-14, we all changed to metal products

Yes i have known Firgelli for years didn't realise they changed names.

https://www.ultramotion.com/linear-actuators/ are bringing out some new ones that we will be using, more industrial and various control options and feedback.

Yes I understand they changed the the plastic base to a metal. It's still the same actuator internals and drive. Mine even have the firgelli stickers on them so they are firgelli just with updated case.

I've been using them for a few years now on my sliding canopy's. Now just recently i'm working with one to operate the retractable landing gear on a warbird that I'm building.

When i get this figured out i will post pictures up on FaceBook..

I just ordered one to operate the nose gear door on my Skymaster/XtremeJets Dragon. I've been planning on converting the main gear to electric so I could get rid of the valves and tanks, etc and using this to operate the nose gear door looks like it should be a nice clean, simple install.
