This concludes our pilot awards. We would like to thank our sponsors for these fantastic awards. We are already looking for an award to top this years. It will be very difficult, but I think it can be done. The task of selecting a few pilots for our awards has been a most difficult task! We had so many excellent pilots, and a vast array of aircraft to choose from. Next year we will offer more awards for our young pilots; their ranks are increasing, and the talent level is very impressive!
Jets Over Kentucky continues to be "The World's Grandest Jet Event" ever! 165 pilots, 10 rain free days, tons of fun, and a huge "Family reunion" for all! It was by far our best event EVER! The dates for next year are July 8th-15th...see you in Kentucky!

Winners of the FlyEagle Hawks at Jets Over Kentucky 2017
The winners of the 2.66 and 2.38 Hawks need to contact Lewis Patton. A lot of the parts were left in your box. Before we threw anything away, I checked, and there they were. Get in touch ASAP, and I'll ship them to
Doug Clemons called for his parts. 2.38 winner speak up. In all the excitement, I didn't write the names down.

Rest In Peace Randy Clark
Jets Over Kentucky mourns the passing of our friend and fellow pilot Randy Clark. My heart at the moment is pouring with sadness. Randy was a fantastic individual who never met a stranger, and you were fortunate if you ever made his acquaintance. We send our heartfelt condolences and sympathy to his family. He was a central figure in the promotion of Jets Over Kentucky, and that's just the kind of person he was. He will never be forgotten, and we will miss him dearly.

So sad. We all loved and respected Randy. He was a fantastic person a great pilot and modeler. Someone everyone could look up to as a role model. Johnnie and I are terribly saddened by this news. Our prayers and sympathies go out to the Clark family and friends. Rest in peace brother.
