Default Need help making plug for A-10 ducting

I’m building a Skymaster 1/7.75 scale A-10 that will be EDF powered. Since there are so many EDF options Skymaster leaves the inlet ducting and thrust tube to the modeler. Thrust tubes for A-10s are a challenge as they require an upward tilt to the end section of the duct so a simple rolled Mylar tube won’t cut it. Best I've come up with is to have someone cut the shapes I need out of foam, that I can then glass and make a plug. Since I only need two of each part I won't need to make a mold just wrap fiberglass around the plug and split the part to get it off the plug. I’ve sent a drawing that shows the 3 simple shapes (2 cones and a cylinder) I need to several foam cutters and got no response. The other way I thought about making the plugs was to get someone to 3D print them, only I don't know anyone with that kind of equipment. Is there anyone out there that would be willing to look at the pieces and see if they can help with the parts?

I have the same model as an EDF.
I don't have an upward tilt on my thrust tubes, just straight out the back, centred.
I rolled the exhausts using mylar and the cone software to generate the pattern.
For my inlets, I cut two discs out of plywood, glued these to some polystyrene blanks and sanded the foam. These were then glassed.
The model flies perfectly fine in this configuration

If you just want intake lips and exhaust (mostly mylar) call www.edfhobbies.com 817-609-0853

I think you are overthinking it.. foam over a plywood ring for the inlet and make a simple tube form for the outlet.. if you really want the upsweep section after a couple of layers of cloth , section out a small wedge shaped piece out and bend and put a layer of glass cloth over the joint. I have the small jet arrows a10 and it does have the upsweep in the fiberglass thrust tubes. I dont think it would make that much difference if it was there or not.

Here is a thread I did about 10 years ago with pics of how I made the inlet ducting for a Gripen: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/rc-j...-tutorial.html
