Hey David -
Home

Don't know how they're doing - but haven't heard anything real bad, lately. There were some ups and downs with the new Wren for a while - then some reports that they were doing fine on service. Last I heard.

Yes, they're in business.

A buddy just got an engine back from Wren and received great service. You need to send it to England, there's nobody State side anymore.

Hear, hear to that.

I recently sent my Wren 44 for service and upgrade to kero start.

I Thought they had returned a new engine, it was gleaming in its new case and repolished exhaust nozzle.

Started and ran beautifully ar first attempt, ( just as do my Supersport and XL 200) all for a reasonable price.

Good question - I guess a better question is - How's Wren's business going now/ See a lot of decent Wren engines up for sale and would be nice to have confidence the business is sound.

How does a customer figure that out?

Just the track record of small businesses up from the ashes of a shuttered one isn't too good, no matter what the field of endeavor.

Hope they are good and solid with sound business practices well into the future.

About 10 months ago I sent them a Wren 44 to service and then sell. With the credit I bought one of their new Wren 100's.
My friend needed it and says it runs like a top!
