Are there firmware updates available for the controllers ? I have two 8ch Pro controllers and one is new and the other is not new... The do not seem to be the same in the software setup.. The newer one seems easier and much more straight forward to deal with. They also required different driver downloads and are talking through 2 different COM ports... Any Ideas ??

Have you tried emailing Ulrich from Unilight? He usually responds very quickly.

I don't know the answer but I could email him and find out, but it might be easier/quicker if you go direct.

Hi Dan,

There was never a firmare update for the 8-channel controller :-)

Different COM ports are possible, depends on the USB driver chip. This might be changed in a production lot, But it is only the connection and has nothing to do with the function. Windows should get the best driver itself.
