Anyone else bothered by the ads on this forum? For example: When there is an automatically animated ad sitting next to something technical that I am try to read, I find that very distracting! What makes it even worse is when the only way to shut it off takes you to a totally different site like an "Ad Choices" page and there is no way to shut off the original animated ad there either. Somehow, there has got to be a limit on the crap we are forced to see, just to have a technical gathering place! Guess maybe the primary mission for this forum has changed. Eh?

If plastic is lighter and stronger...and Kevlar is twice the price.... am I missing something here?

Actually it must use your computer cache as an indicator of your likes because all my ads are for rc stuff or campers etc.

i have Ad Blocker Plus., I don't get ads

Just download any Ad block, you can do it for free or donate a few $$ as well if you want and the Ads are gone.
