Default Contact with Jetlegend?

Hello guys. I am trying to contact Jetlegend for parts for two weeks now, without success.

Does anyone knows if something is going on or are they really slow in answering the customers?

Kind regards, Calil

You might try going through BVM, all USA Jetlegends parts need to go through them. I got parts for my f-4 from BVM.

Would be nice if they kept their website up to date etc you never know what models they're bringing out and when they do you can't get any info on the site

I would check with Mike Denilin first of Globaljetclub. He is still a JL supplier as far as I know, and has been, long before BVM. He has dealt directly with JL for a very long time. I suspect he will get you a better deal than BVM, and I doubt BVM has an exclusive deal with JL for all products.

Mike Lin AKA GJC no longer lists JL products on his website.

What about these?

F-15B/E, Eagle (1/8) Super Scale

Global JL F-22 Raptor ARF (1/8.5)

Alpha Jet

Now, whether you can actually still get them or parts for them through GJC I have no idea, I just knew I had still seen Jet Legend aircraft listed on GJC's site.

Speaking of finding planes on websites, has anyone else found it extremely difficult to locate an online catalog of BVM planes? From here, how would you find their available kits/ARFs/PNP airframes? It's possible I'm just blind, but I couldn't find anything listing their current offerings.

You need to go to Welcome to Bob Violett Models directly for kits and prices. You need to call BVM to place an order for kits and replacement parts.

I had not, but I am confused: BVM website shows the whole Skymaster line, but no JL stuff.

Also, Dreamworks, which now is aparently the parts arm for global jet, shows JL stuff, as does GJC's page. ***?

Thumbs down

Ok, so, got the scoop. Global Jet can still order parts from JL, but it sounds pretty limited, but he is otherwise done with JL. BVM acts like the old JL stuff does not even exist, nor is it even mentioned on their website, whereas Skymaster is. Interesting since JL owns them. It's like JL is hiding behing the BVM brand and everything is now "BVM". I asked about a 1/8 F-16, just to see what they would say. Guy denied anything other than the "BVM f-16" existed ($3,700!!!! - for what used to be a $2K ARF). I then asked if they were a Skymaster dealer and he said yes we can get those too. I then stated SM makes a F-16 and he paused and said yea, we can order that too. Not entirely forthcoming. Looks to me like BVM will carry skymaster until they roll out the rest of the JL line as re-priced "BVM" planes and then will drop SM.

Feibaio seems to have disappeared altogether. So we are left with now-grossly overpriced overpriced JL planes sold as BVM, SM, or you can roll the dice with FEJ's newest junk. Which really leaves SM as the only viable choice. Sad state of affairs really, especially if you don't want monster-sized airframes.

Well I guess it's easy to jump to conclusions....

Part of the deal was that Bob would stay around for some period of time and Patty as well. As for marketing JL products? ALL of BVM's PnP stuff was built by JL. Prices? I paid BVM $7750 plus $700 shipping for the PnP F-16 or basically $8500. Right after it was announced that BVM had been sold, it was originally not made public who bought them, the price of that model dropped to $6995 shipped.

So you cannot say that there hasn't been some pricing adjustments as for the JL line specifically? Just look at all of the BVM PnP stuff.

Pretty sure Anton is still the owner of Skymaster/Xtreme. BVM was just a dealer and has nothing to do with JL

I had a similar experience. I emailed Jet Legend asking for price and availability of their L-39 ARF. They said that the prices on the JL website are no longer valid and referred me to BVM. BVM said that the L-39 ARF is no longer available, but I can order their PNP version. So instead of spending $2700 + shipping and installing the equipment myself, the only way to get one is to buy their $6500 PNP version. Sure, that includes servos, lights, smoke system, shipping, etc. but I don't need to pay them about $1500 just to install the equipment.
