U.K. J.M.A. Meeting At Long Marsden 15th/16th July 2017
The U.K. JMA held another two day event at Long Marsden, it is a shame we will be losing this venue (along with all the other airfield users) in October, as it is earmarked for a large housing development
I was'nt able to attend on Saturday, however I have attached some photographs from Sunday, the weather was overcast for the most, it was dry, and warm, the wind early on was almost on the runway, later becoming almost a 90 degree cross wind!!!
Paul Betteridge travelled down from Aberdeen with his JSM Xcalibur, Jet Cat p100, All JR servos, & JR 28X Radio, he seemed to enjoy his trip to L.M.

Paul Baker was flying his CARF Ultra Flash & CARF Hawk.
Great scheme on the Hawk, really brightened up the overcast, complete with Nav lights, and strobes

Another blast from the past, a really tidy AMT NL powered Kangaroo flown by Martin Painter, not the easiest model to land in a cross wind.

Roger Kilby brought along his Wren powered Boomerang Elan, another well flown model.
