Default RC Trainer JET

Footage of one of the members of the local RC flying club flying his JET Trainer. The plane is a Sky Raider trainer plane on which he has installed a Jet Turbine with 4.5 kg thrust. This is as cheap as you can get with a Jet RC plane. Still alot of money for the Turbine but still cheap compared to other RC Jet airplanes.

Everything on the plane is stock except then for the Jet Turbine The rudder and elevator section of the plane is covered with heat shielded tape in order for it not to melt when the Turbine starts.

Sorry about the crappy footage but it was really difficult to follow the airplane since it was so fast and was flying so far away sometimes

Don't know if you are in the US, but if you are then brakes are required. If not then disregard.

I have to admit, the thought of slapping a k45 on top of a Quickee 500 has crossed my mind.

Usually when they start off with descriptions in kilograms I just assume they are over seas

You should have seen my Tiger 60 with a Dinamax fan unit and a OS 91 and pipe mounted on top, in flight it looked like one of the German rockets from WW2.
I also kit bashed a North Star with the same Dinamax fan unit on top, a storm came through the area then, I took the opportunity to fly it that day, strong winds, flying into the wind took a long time but flying down wind was fast as a jet, good experience before my waiver.
