REBEL HOT - New release from Pirotti models - Wow!

I have been flying two Avanti XS’s (one in the USA and one in Canada) for the last year or so, and I was anxious to try a Rebel Hot. I did contact EA and was told in no uncertain terms to contact Mauro Pirotti directly. Mauro was responsive to say the least, until he got my funds and then no answer to any emails or FB messages etc. I have no ability to get a refund as EA had no actual part in the process other than to put Mauro and I in contact in the beginning.
So I guess I wait and fly other planes. Mauro has very poor business practices I’m afraid, and this scenario playing out as detailed in posts above, (that we will not receive planes ALREADY PAID FOR IN FULL for well over a year, which is way worse than most Asian companies!) will likely lose him many many customers in the future I would think!
That’s sad really, as his aircraft are supposed to fly exceedingly well. I am thinking this is yet another fallout from the instant global information exchange that touted Mauro’s planes, and deservedly so, but got him so vastly many more orders than he can handle. I have no issue if the guy would tell us even something relating to the truth as to when we should anticipate delivery, but he chose and continues to choose to remain silent and that is something which I cannot abide. Going incommunicado is the cardinal sin in NA business.

Just want to inform everyone still waiting for theit Rebel Hots that I have received shipment from Pirotti with first 2 of my 3 ordered Hots this morning. I wish you receive your models soon too.

really nice! How is the quality internal in the plane ?
Rumor is that 2 of the 4 we ordered here have been shipped, with the last 2 shipping next week. Crossing fingers here !

The quality inside is "a rough one" with some cracks and imperfections so I may want to use sand paper and dremel before installing everything, but the surface outside is quite OK.

Seems like the CNC router doing the woodwork should have its bit changed a bit before doing this one
Anyway, looking forward getting ours
Did you get it complete with Electron retracts from Pirotti? The 4 we ordered were ordered complete with tanks, retracts etc

We ordered all 3 Hots in white color with uninstalled alu tailpipes only, planning to create our own design paintings. Two jets will be equipped with the Electrons we bought separately and the third one will have the gears from HobbyKing.

I’m still waiting too and nothing I do to get an answer from Pirotti has been met with any response at all...very very bad business practices from this company, to say the least! I must have PM’ed him on FB 4 times and all my emails go unanswered. Heck even the fellow at Elite Aerosports, that put me onto Mauro, cannot get an answer! For what its worth, I paid in full at the end of Sept 2017, with a promise of December delivery...kind of missed that line in the sand !!!!

We got our 4 Rebel HOT here in Denmark !
They are ok, not "super perfect" with regards to gluing and paint, but it will be ok.
I will see if I can grab some pictures of mine soon.

We have received the last of the three ordered Hot now, quality is just fine. The first two ordered Hots arrived a month ago. We ordered them all in September at the 2017 Jet power. I wish to all those still waiting to get their Rebel Hots soon too.

Any idea how the Reble hot compares to the Mini Avanti? I have around 120 flights with the Avanti lambert T35 powered and love the way she flies. Just wondering if this would be a better bet with lambert T50.

I ordered about the same time at the end of September and nothing, not even a response to emails or PM’s on FB etc. I was told it had shipped by a fellow in the USA, but I have no confirmation. However; he has never steered me wrong so far! Hope hope hope!!!

The first Hot had its first flight last weekend here in Denmark. K70 powered. I wrote down the settings it ended up with, flew very nice, the landing flap/crow setting is VERY effective, the plane comes to a halt when you deploy these, so keep power on!
The settings are shown on our local forum, you can have a look, the basics are written in english so it should be understandable to most
