I’m running a K85 in mine. I flew mine three more times today. Ive got 20+ flights on it and l’m consistently only using about 200’ of the runway to land to full stop. Takeoff is about the same, about 200’ to rotate. Mine weights just under 21 lbs full of fuel.

I'm joining the club! I ordered my entire setup yesterday. Black/Yellow scheme, K-85G2, Cortex, Savox SV1250MG servo pack, wiring harness and more. I just don't know how I'm going to wait two months for the air frame. This is my first turbine, but luckily I have a great mentor at my club!

I finally ordered mine tonight got the red and white scheme. I talked to my buddy who’s a jet guy about it and getting my waiver which should be no problem, the JOK sale finally got me to order. Now the waiting begins...

I ordered the airframe and the wing/fuse bags but held off on the servos for now. What are the thoughts on the Savox 1250MG’s that pacific jets offers? I will order the wiring kit for it in a couple weeks.

Pretty exciting, I flown just about every other type of plane out there but this will be my first jet.

Congrats on your purchase! We'll see who's gets here first.

I've flown Savox servos in my TRex 600 for years. The jet guys at my club (RocketCityRC) fly Savox in some of their jets and highly recommend them. You can't beat the price on the pack that Pacific sells for the Mini (not that I'm suggesting that you be cheap).

Thanks, congrats to you too! Looks like quite a few people on this thread are using the 1250’s as well. I’ve used a couple different Savox in the past as throttle servos for a couple giant scale 3D planes with good results. The price is definitely right!

The hardest part for me so far was deciding on the color scheme, too many to choose from!

Is there no manual online for this plane? What size servo arms do i need? Also the linkages shown in DepecheModes pic are those what’s included or are those aftermarket?

No servo arms included. Linkage shown in my other pics are MP Jet from CZ I think.

Hope that helps

Stock linkage

I'm using Savox servos in both of my T-1 minis for ailerons, elevator, and nose steering; MKS HV747 for flaps and rudder. I'm also using Savox servos (bought the servo package from Dirk at PJRC) in my full size T1, they are a little noisy but work very well. You will love this jet, just be careful not to set the CG too neutral until you have a few flights under your belt because, like most jets, you can easily get the angle of attack too high if you turn too tight resulting in a stall. - Tom

Arms come with the servos, no? In the case of the SV1250MG pack from PRCJ, are they not big/long enough?

I usually run aluminum arms on everything, looked like he was using aluminum arms, sorry I’m used to the 3D world.

Does it come with a UAT or do I need to buy one, size? I want to have everything here and ready to go when the plane gets here so I’m putting a list together. Usually i just look at the manual ahead of time, but there isn‘t or I can’t find a manual.

I am going to use about 100ml size based on 70NM turbine.

MPJETS is a JET hardware company.

I may try the one on top so that I don't have to use safety wire....maybe

I don't believe it does. I ordered one with all my other stuff from PRCJ.

Thanks for those pics! I’m also flying Jeti and had planned on us using the same receiver, when I get a chance I might send you a PM with a couple questions on your setup so I don’t clog up the thread, nice install! I’ll probably use your pics as a model for my install.

I'm looking at Aluminum servo arms for the Savox 1250MG in this jet. How long do they need to be? My LHS has the Savox SH-82 arms in stock (25T 38mm long).

...still more posts before I can include URLs.

I just used the plastic servo arms that came with the 1250 servos, they work fine.

I've got everything but the airframe now.
  • K85G2 w/ FOD screen
  • Radio system components
  • UAT 150cc
  • Cortex
  • Wiring harness
  • Servos
  • 3s and 2s LiFe packs
  • Kingtech Oil
  • ...and other assorted bits and pieces.
The next 6 weeks or so of waiting are going to kill me.

I got my last T1 mini in less than 6 weeks, not bad. My first two T1 airframes though, took 6 and 4 months respectively. Definitely worth the wait on all three!

Mine fly's AWESOME with the K-85. Tons of power and great flight times. I built it with this also:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FS6CIA6/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Make sure to end the servo extension at the Horizontal and Vertical stabilizers in case you ever need to replace a servo, (Don't put the connection down next to the pipe). It is easy to keep tight and make sure it cannot ever touch the pipe. It really is a very simple build.

Thank you for the reminder! I need to get some of that stuff.

I think he means to have the servo extension connector outside the pipe area (in the tail and horizontal stab).

P.S. It's such a pain in the butt with the URL prohibited stuff for n00bs!

What kind of shipping did you select? The standard EMS or the DHL?
