I know you guys have all been here.....
Friday will be 7 weeks from order date. I've [annoyingly] asked for an update with no response. What should I expect here?
Will I get a shipping notice? Will it just show up?

EMS shipping from China work on a priority flight....our plane are the least urgent package to get aboard (per $ spend).....so if there’s no space left it waits....one of mine was shipped the same day and one waited for over a week to get boarded on a flight

Yep it will get there. I think mine was 7 weeks and a day, I ordered the same day as Techdad and got mine several days later if I remember right.
Oh and I tested out my 3m bra wing tip tape last weekend, winds were all over the place last weekend you literally might take off one direction and winds would change so much during your flight you land the other direction. I was slow on final just about to touch down and I had a gust pick up the right wing and I just scuffed the left tip. (Asphalt runway) Looks like it didn’t make it through the tape. Actually the tape, other than some black on it doesn’t really look damaged at all.

Message from Dirk (thanks dansy for the suggestion):
I'm guessing May 1.
It's about to come out of paint. Remember you bought a PNP, they take a few weeks longer to build than just an ARF.

I took mine to the field for the first time Saturday, cg was perfect with full UAT. I found out I installed the fuel pump lines backwards. Not a big deal to fix when I got it back home but I obviously couldn't run the turbine. Hopefully the first run will be this week.

Venting Question. My jet came with a vent tube (fuel line) just sticking out of the bottom of the fuselage. They also plumbed the smoke tank as an overflow, so I should be able to stop filling as soon as there is fuel in the onboard overflow.
Question - what can I use to cap or terminate the raw fuel line coming out of the bottom of the jet? I'm considering the PRCJ STD 6MM FUEL VENT WITH CAP

What do you think?

If they plumbed the smoke tank for fuel you could fill until the smoke tank is full. I didn’t install the smoke tank only the main and fly 7 minutes with the k85 and usually land with about 1/3 of a tank left. I’m not flying full throttle the whole flight if you’re going to do that I would set my timer at 6 minutes and see what you have left. At full throttle she REALLY moves but also gets small really fast.
For the vent tube I'm using the same fitting you have listed, works great.
