U.K. J.M.A. Meeting At Long Marsden 23rd /24th September
Just to say a big thank you to Roger and his JMA Team for organising this final weekend of Jet flying at Long Marston.
It is sad to say that the property developers are nocking on the door, and Long Marston as a venue for Airsports, Motorsport, is no more.
However it has been a great day, and well supported.
As always a few photographs, the CARF Ultra Flash, and Standard Flash still prooving very popular, DW's Standard Flash first flew in 2006, and is very original, same turbine etc.

Steve Elias brought along his new Jet Legend F16, very nice indeed, it was in good company too.

Great photos as always Alistair. As you say it's extremely sad to see the developers moving in and the end of JMA events at LM. Regrettably I couldn't attend this weekends event but hope the weather continues to be kind and everyone has a good and safe days flying tomorrow (Sunday).
l'm looking forward to attending future JMA events in 2018.
Cheers

Great set of photos, was good to fly some of my older fleet, the Flash, CARF Hawk and DJ Vampire have been going to LM for a combined 25 years! I will miss the place, we have had so many good meetings in the time the JMA have been flying there.
About to set off for today, mixed some more fuel last night and added the Mini Xcalibur to the van

Just got home from Long Marston after another fantastic event. Great event with good company. Shame it was the last meet at this venue but hopefully we can sort out other places in the future. Thanks to everyone who organised the event and to everyone who attended and made it another great JMA weekend.
More superb pictures by Alistair too. Thank you.

And a few photographs from the air at Long Marsden, the site is very open, and quite remote, it was a perfect venue for all air sports.
