Can Pro Links Be Used With Robart Units
Hello Everyone Rookie Question Again,
I want to change out my straight Robart struts for a set of Pro Links. I have a Bruce Tharpe 54. Will the Pro Links simply drop into the Robart units. Any mods necessary? How do you decide which links to purchase? Help me please. Thanks. Chic

You didn't say which Robart retract units you have. I have Robart 630s with Pro Link struts on my Turbinator ARF and the struts dropped right in. As far as which ones you need, they make a set for the Reaction ARF - not sure how much difference there is between the ARF and the kit. Regardless you can measure your existing struts then call Dreamworks and they'll tell you what they have that might work. You may have to slightly mod the wing or go to a smaller wheel to make the struts work as they come in specific lengths and cannot be shortened like Robostruts.
