The coast guard scheme looks great. The airplane design is fugly but it looks 1000x better in the coast guard scheme.

thanks. If I had 1/100 of your painting skills, it would have been glassed and painted.

Mark,
GREAT Coast Guard scheme on your facelifted Facet. I'm currently completing an early 1200 Series and will finish in a Reno-racer scheme of; red/orange, white and dark green checkers. Will post when done. Facet's 4-ever!
Rgds,
Art

with swept wing

with swept wing and retracts

as originally built in 2004
May be fugly but you can't say anything bad about the way it flies.

Thanks for the compliments. I am the fifth owner of this jet and it has been through a lot. The tail was completely burnt off(my Jet cat ECU malfunctioned turning my p-70 into an huge flame thrower) and the previous owner damaged the wing which was warped. After repairing the wing, rebuilding the tail and recovering the airplane, I can honestly say that it flies great. It no longer drops a wing in slow flight and flies smoother and faster. Gary, I like what you have done to your Facet. Does it fly better with the retracts?

It flies the same with the retracts. It is not any faster.
