There was a problem with the Kingcat wings going all the way on in front, but leaving a 1/8" to 1/4" gap in back. This was due to a jig alignment problem when the wings were built. There was an AD that dealt with that, but it could also happen if you did install the booms correctly. On two of the Kingcats I built, I had to sand the front of the wing down a bit so that the wing would snug up straight against the booms...

Thanks for your comments,
I have rechecked the tube and it look pretty good, but on my left wind its off 1.5 mm from the front and its flush from the back, on right wind its flush from the front and 1.5 mm off from the back!!!!!!! with out the wing bolts.
what am thing now is to sand off the boom for each side of the wing or any suggestions?
Thanks
Al

If you do any sanding to make the wings flush, do it on the root of the wing. I had to sand off a little more than 1/8" on the wing root towards the front to make the ones I built fit. The root rib is usually set back a bit from the edge of the wing, so you can sand off some of the fiberglass of the wing skins without getting into the root rib. If you need to, you can add a Hysol bead in the back of the root rib between it and the wing skin for strengthening, but even that's typically not necessary.

I had a similar gap on the KC I picked up too. As the front had been sanded almost back to the root I just made balsa spacers, glassed and painted them.
