Default BVM Air Blue Conversion

Hello Gents,
Wondering if anybody can assist with a query I have regarding BVM air blue retracts. Are they a drop in fit to an early BVM T-33 DF kit? The early kit has the nylon flex plates and mechanical retracts with pneumatic ram set up, etc. I'm guessing the air blue bolt pattern is the same but the duro-struts may foul the cylinders? Not interested in "upgrading" to the AFS set up with plywood bearers, etc, up as I prefer the original flex plate arrangement. Reversing the air blue retraction direction/retaining the flex plates may be another option if fouling on the duro struts is an issue.

Regards, Frank
