Default K85 Issues?

Just curious if anyone else has been having issues with their K85? The first time after about 15hrs I had the engine quit in flight...landed the plane no prob. After inspecting the engine it was clear there was some kind of component failure. Turbine wheel missing blades after contacting the side, compressor had rubbed against the nacelle..most likely bearing failure. Dirk was great, got it repaired in under a week and got it back out to me. Then, 14 flights later I take off and hear an extremely loud "whine" coming from the engine...landed asap and found similar damage. Turbine wheel missing blades, etc. I sent it in a couple weeks ago, but haven't heard anything yet. Maybe I'm just unlucky, but thought I'd share my experience in case others have had similar issues. FWIW I run Kingtech oil/ kero and meticulous about all my equipment. Been running the same fuel in my Merlin and Cheetah with zero issues.

I've been running a K85 for a long time with no issues. It was one of the first ones made. I have not herd of problems with the K85s so hoping yours is just an isolated case.

Sure that isn't FOD?

Thanks for the feedback guys. Don't believe it was FOD related (use a screen, fly off pavement...not that it's a guarantee of course). The compressor wheel looked fine, unless something internal came loose. I was thinking maybe a clogged fuel lubricating port to the bearing shaft?
