Has anyone had the original Aluminum strut landing gear from Carf, then updated to the carbonfiber gear?

I actually have add J_10 that is almost 18in longer than the Carf J_10.

But mine doesn't have gear. I was thinking about buying the Carf gear and extending them a t_1.5in to work in my J10 as it seems the tail cone likes to hit ground.

I would feel better about exstending the Aluminum gear vs Carbonfiber gear but I can find them,

Beotec sells one a few sizes of aluminum struts with F16 angles which is needed. But I can't find refrance to how long the carf gear is.
