Default Ultra Flash Ball link

Anyone have a source for the metric ball link that comes with the Comp Arf Ultra flash. The ball on it is not a standard dubro type, It has spacers on it that are part of the ball.

GMT in Germany, but some of the CARF kits had a spare included in the accessory packs.

Kavan do a similar thing and you can choose from various different ‘balls’.

A quick Google brings up this in the US https://sigmfg.com/products/kavan-maxi-ball-links

Thank you for the help.

Yes the extra hardware pack did have one but I used it to replace one that the shop "gremlins" took when I originally built the Jet.

Hi

You could use the Dubro ones and make the spacer from brass tube. If you go that way change the 3mm bolt to a 4-40 bolt to reduce the play .

Dave,

These are the best ball linkages I have ever used. They have no slop even after 4 yrs. (still tight). Can you PM me the contact if you have it. I have an office in Frankfurt and can get them to get it for me.

Yes, best of the best...hence CARF use them!
I'll see if I can find a contact, his web page still says under construction.

In the US they were sold under the Kavan label. Not sure where to buy them now. My LHS had them before they closed.

I looked at the SIG web-site provided above, but while the balls with the integrated stand-offs are shown unfortunately they don't appear available to order.

Kavan Maxi Ball Links - with Ball Joint Order No. KAV1405 (M3) or KAV1445 (4-40)
