Hey Bud I HIGHLY recommend longer pins for the front of the canopy lock. Just the a slight flex from flight aerodynamics of the air flow over the canopy is enough to cause it open in flight. Saw this happen on one and I made loner pins for that very reason.

Please note if your building one of these aircraft. DO NOT FOLLOW THE MANUALS ZERO for the elevators!!!!!
It is not correct!
By the end of this maiden we had added 90 points of up elevator to have her fly neutral.
There will be a follow up video with all the changes.

My Feedback: (1)
No take off run was not normal. it took much more runway than it should have.
It was a combo of a few things.
1. Elevator neutral.
2. Engines lagged on take off throttle up. This is just an assumption as we have no hard data to prove this. BUT on all the taxi runs we did it was very different.
If you watch the take off run again, the first 1/3 of the runway the plane is just lagging.
