Default Jettronics dual action valve setup

Seems surprising to me but I can't find anything anywhere online to answer my Jettronic valve question:

I'm operating a system with one (dual action) valve for gear and one for doors. Here's the problem: if I hook them up to a common pressure line (ie. one tank) the door valve will cycle fine but the gear valve just blows air out the vent!! It won't cycle the gear. If I run separate tanks it all works fine. No, I don't have any leaking I can find - the system holds air forever.

I do NOT want to have to run three air tanks (one for brakes too). What the heck is going on?

There is no logic if you are connecting to the right inlet nipple

Here’s my setup (that doesn’t work). Gear and door valves at bottoms of picture - on a common line from tank. WILL NOT WORK.

One tank T'd off should be fine.Try clamping off one gear at a time and cycle. Im thinking one of the gear has some cylinder blow by.

To all those that said (in various threads) CHECK YOUR SYSTEM FOR LEAKS - I say SPOT ON!!

And thanks finally to Vincent. I finally clamped off each gear in turn and found massive blow-by in the right gear. So I pulled the wing and CANNOT get it to blow-by on the bench. But it most certainly is. When clamped the gear work flawless and when up if I unclamp the right gear (Up line) air immediately dumps out of the up solenoid (only source is now the right DOWN line - through the cylinder).

Cant imagine why it won’t leak on the bench but a cylinder rebuild is in order.

Let this be a lesson to all the other hard-headed folks out there. I would’ve bet the farm my system was just fine.

Just to wrap this up: I pulled the right gear, removed the cylinder and pressurized it. Wiggling the ram rod would make it leak.

I replaced the seals, reassembled and now my gear cycle just fine.

Live and learn. . .

I have a similar problem with my Jettronic dual valve, but I can't get air to come out of the second #2 cylinder port. Only one works. I am not even sure how to plumb it because the instructions are really inadequate. I assume one of the #2 cylinder ports are gear/door up, and the other #2 cylinder port goes to the same cylinder, but down. Is this correct? Thanks for any suggestions.
