Default Servo Connector Pins/ Sockets

Does anyone have a spec or part number for the crimpable pins and sockets used for our standard servo connectors in order to make servo cables?

I've bough sets of pins/ sockets and housings from Hobby King, but I seem to be using significantly more servo end sockets than pins, so was looking to see if they can be bought in bulk from an on-line electrical supply house. I have plenty of the housings too at this time.

They'd probably be significantly cheaper also.

Thanks

Paul

Hobby King connectors And wires is what I started using when I started making my own cables.....quickly tried the Hansen connector and wires and they were better and easier to crimp properly with the same tool....

Then I tried the PowerBox connectors along with the PowerBox Crimper and that’s the only one I’m using now days with the PowerBox cables.....Much better..if I was building for a living, I would get a pro crimper, but the PB is more then good enough for the job..

Marty,

Thanks for the Hansen link. Just what I was looking for.

600 loose sockets ordered.

I make thousands of individual crimps each year and used Hansen for many years. Then I tried the PB stuff and got hooked. IMO, It simply works better and I have far fewer servo issues when making long extensions.

Deluxe Crimping Tool

I’ve used the Hanson on PB stuff and it works well.
Thanks

i have both. They are similar but not identical. Either works as well once adjusted.

Never own the Hansen crimper....just the HK one which I still used for the ods JST connector only....and of course the PB crimper which is my main crimping tool.
